Education: Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists Examination, Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Rehabilitation centre, Private practice, Vocational evaluation and training centre
Area of Practice: Vocational rehabilitation, Chronic care, Community occupational therapy, Geriatrics
Specific Skills: Assess patients' emotional and physical capabilities, Develop and implement treatment programs, Maintain clinical and progress reports
Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Driver's validity licence check, Eligible for professional liability insurance
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Fast-paced environment, Walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Manual dexterity, Work under pressure
