Title: Cytology technologist
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $26.00 to $31.00 Hourly for 35 hours per week, Group Insurance Benefits
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Winnipeg and Area, Manitoba (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS)
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Private clinical laboratories
Area of Specialization: Cytotechnology
Additional Skills: Supervise other technical and support staff, Train other technical and support staff
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Work under pressure
Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use
Other Information:Must be licenced or eligible to be licenced with CMLTM. Duties include screening slides for Gyne and non-Gyne specimens, slide staining, computer data entry.
