Title: Personal care provider - medical (Live in/out care-giver - Male or Female)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $1,800.00 to $3,000.00 Monthly for 44 hours per week, Other Benefits, As per collective agreement
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Central North, Calgary, Alberta (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency
Specific Skills: Lift, turn or massage patients, Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
Additional Skills: Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own transportation
Essential Skills: Writing, Oral communication, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory
