Title: Cardiovascular technician
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time, Day
Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 Hourly for 25 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists Registration, Provincial or territorial registration
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Cardiology Technology Experience: Non-invasive
Work Setting: Private clinic
Area of Specialization: Electrocardiography tests, Ambulatory monitoring, Exercise stress testing, Holter monitoring
Specific Skills: Operate electrocardiographs, cardiac ultrasound and other electronic equipment, Perform cardiovascular procedures and tests, Prepare reports for interpretation by cardiologists, Check cardiology equipment to ensure proper operation
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Confidential security clearance
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Fast-paced environment, Ability to distinguish between colours, Manual dexterity, Physically demanding
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
Ability to Supervise: 4 people or less
