Title: Resident companion - medical (Companion Aide)

Terms of Employment: Casual, Part Time, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening

Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 Hourly for 15 hours per week, Other Benefits

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Thunder Bay, Ontario (4 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Basic cardiac life support (BCLS), First Aid Certificate

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: Home care and visiting care agency

Additional Skills: Serve meal trays and feed patients

Security and Safety: Bondable

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence, Own transportation, Own vehicle

Essential Skills: Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing

Other Information:We have casual opening for Companion Aides in Thunder Bay. You will provide services in: meal preparation, light housekeeping, transporting clients to appointments, shopping & Respite Care
