Title: Personal support aide - medical (Personal Support Worker)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time, Weekend, Night

Salary: $16.51 Hourly for 20 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Guelph, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Continuing care assistant certification

Experience: Experience an asset

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: Home for the aged

Specific Skills: Lift, turn or massage patients, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, Answer call signals

Additional Skills: Serve meal trays and feed patients, Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, Maintain inventory of supplies

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Tuberculosis test

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling
