Title: Registered practical nurse (R.P.N.) (Night supervisor)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time, Night
Salary: $20.42 Hourly for 20 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Binbrook, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work, Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Nursing or convalescent home
Area of Specialization: Public and community health
Registered Nursing Assistant Specific Skills: Distribute medication to patients, Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families, Assist registered nurses with various medical procedures
Additional Skills: Monitor patients' progress and report any changes
Security and Safety: Tuberculosis test
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
