Work Setting: Continuing/adult education facility
Area of Instruction: French as a second language
Specific Skills: Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses, Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress, Develop course content, Train and supervise students in practical shop work session
Teaching Audience: Adult, College/University students
Teaching Format: Tutor/one-on-one instruction, Classroom, Workshop, Laboratory, Seminar
Essential Skills: Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use, Continuous learning
Other Information:Candidates must be able to speak and write French fluently at a very high level. They must have at least 700 hours' experience teaching French as a Second Language. Knowledge of PFL2 is a significant asset.
