Engineering Manager - Manufacturing

Manufacturing Engineering Manager is needed immediately to lead manufacturing engineering efforts in our client's plant. Company is located in Southwest VA and manufactures material handling equipment (hoists, actuators, cranes, and lifting and rigging tools). This is a management level position, previous management experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Responsibilities:
-> Leads manufacturing engineering activities within a machine shop/assembly environment
-> Directs and coordinates lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TQM, and continuous improvement efforts within plant
-> Manages the manufacturing engineering department
Requirements:
-> Bachelor's degree from 4 year college or university OR 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
-> Management experience is a must.
-> 5 or more years experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing/ Continuous Improvement methods in a machine shop / assembly environment
