Host Company Description:
A small family owned candy store company operating since 1937, the company is famous
throughout the Maryland and Delaware beaches for their homemade creamy fudge, delicious
salt-water taffy and beautifully hand-dipped chocolates. “We are a fun, friendly, company of
almost 175 summer employees, with 22 stores. Working at our store will provide valuable
experience while being part of a “family” and team oriented work environment. Our ability to
accomplish goals is based on the people we hire, team members. Working at our store is fun and
offers opportunities for growth. Not to mention, all the time you will spend on the beach enjoying
your summer, making new friends and meeting exciting people.”
Applicant Qualifications:
• To apply for an internship program, you must be a marketing, finance or business
management undergraduate/graduate student (maximum duration – 12 months)
• To apply for a trainee program, you must hold a marketing, finance, or business
management degree and has least 1 year of work experience in a related field, OR be a
career professional of 5 or more years of experience (maximum duration – 18 months)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Well-organized and self-motivated
• Independent and ability to conduct friendly customer service
• Willing to advance the current skills and knowledge by learning American business traits
Management Training/Internship Program Details:
• Learn American customer services
• Manage vendor accounts
• Assist with inventory display and stocks
• Take customer service call

Start Date(s): Between May - June, 2009
Hours: 40 hours/week
Location: Ocean City, Maryland, USA
Training Duration: Up to 18 months
