Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of university
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable, Not required
Experience: 5 years or more
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Area of Specialization: Industrial, Production systems
Work Experience: Project management, Project planning, Installation, maintenance and inspection of equipment or facilities, Operations or production, Quality assurance or control
Work Setting: Manufacturing plant
Specific Skills: Plan and design plant layouts and facilities, Develop flexible or integrated manufacturing systems and procedures, Conduct studies and implement programs to determine optimum inventory levels and optimum utilization of machinery, materials and resources, Design and conduct time studies and work simplification programs, Assess industrial facilities, Establish programs and conduct studies to enhance industrial health and safety or to identify and correct fire and other hazards
Additional Skills: Supervise technicians, technologists, analysts, administrative staff and other engineers
