Education: Some high school
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Type of Equipment: Single needle machine, Double needle machine, Multi-needle machine, Hemmer or blindstitcher
Specific Skills: Operate machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis, Use sewing guides and tension devices, Set in sleeves, pockets, collars and other garment pieces, Mitre corners, Stitch items by hand
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Sitting, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
