Title: Computer training instructor (Library Training Assistant)
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $11.00 Hourly for 35 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Lindsay, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable, Not required
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Community agency, Continuing/adult education facility
Area of Instruction: Information technology
Specific Skills: Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses, Deliver lectures and presentations, Practical experience related to area of instruction
Additional Skills: Use audio-visual equipment
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)
Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Willing to travel regularly, Valid driver's licence, Travel expenses paid by employer, Public transportation is not available
Work Location Information: Rural community, Various locations
Teaching Audience: Children, youth, Adult
Teaching Format: Tutor/one-on-one instruction
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning
