Work Setting: Metal products manufacturing company
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products, Transport raw materials and finished metal products, Clean work areas and equipment, Grind or chip excess metal from metal products
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods
Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Critical thinking, Continuous learning
