Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Welder Trade Certification, Canadian Welding Bureau Certification, CAMC Aviation Welding Technician Certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Manufacturing, Industrial
Area of Specialization: Custom fabrication, Auto repair, Factory assembly
Welding Techniques: Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) (MIG), Flux core arc welding (FCAW), Electrogas, Brazing and soldering
Type of Machine Experience: Spot welding machines, Gas welding machines
Materials: Steel, iron and heavy metals
