Salary: $15.00 to $22.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Medical Benefits

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable, Not required
Experience: 5 years or more
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Installation, Repair
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial
Area of Installation Specialization: Skylights and slope glazed installations, Curtain walls, Aluminum storefronts, barrel vaults, solariums, commercial window systems, Suspended glazing systems
Types of Glass / Materials: Sealed units
Frame Fabrication and Installation: Curtain wall (stock length material), Curtain wall (prefabricated material), Spandrel panel installations, Aluminum framing members
Specific Skills: Determine type of glass, frames and material required, Measure, mark and cut glass, Position and secure panes in frame, Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products, Install door, window and other hardware, Repair glass doors and other glass structures, Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment
Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Work at heights on scaffolding, Instruct apprentices, Supervise other workers
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling
