Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Experience: Will train
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Metal products manufacturing company
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Specific Skills: Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products, Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions, Transport raw materials and finished metal products, Clean work areas and equipment
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Finding information
